About

Susie Beart Design was founded in 2003 and has continued to flourish and expand since its conception.  Susie had previously worked for over 20 years with Joanna Wood gaining invaluable experience to now provide over 35 years of accumulated expertise.  Having studied history of art, and thus gained a lifelong interest in art and architecture, Susie is sympathetic to all periods of interior design.  She is fortunate enough to have been indulged by her clients with buying art and antiques, as well as restoring old houses and apartments to both modern and more traditional styles.

Susie has worked for numerous high profile clients on both the building and soft furnishing aspects of fabulous projects in London, the country and abroad.  The client list is varied and the company has worked frequently for developers and new build projects, latterly in a contemporary style.  She works either with her own specialists or those with whom a client wishes her to liaise, always displaying an enthusiasm and professionalism second to none.  No detail is left unattended.

Susie has an eclectic style and has completed projects that are both ultra modern in town or highly traditional in the country.  She would like to think that her style is permanently evolving and always reflects the tastes of her clients.  She is versatile, efficient and approachable, creating interiors that are practical and comfortable.  She frequently designs her own pieces of furniture and rugs in order to create the ultimate room.

Working from Battersea, with a small team, Susie currently has a wide variety of commissions both in London and the country, ranging from complete refurbishments to a single room.  Her aim at all times is to turn her clients dreams into reality.

Susie is a former member of both the IDDA and IIDA.
